Mission News Update on the Mission Elias Profeta in Patzun

Guatemala Construction on a kitchen, dining area, playground and vocational center has resumed. Construction had stopped due to COVID-19 for a while. Sacred Heart parishioners, through their generous contributions, have helped fund this project. The Carmelite Sisters, led by Madre Ana María, are well in the convent, and the school children are studying from home. The teachers deliver new work once a week and review their homework. They do not have computers or Internet. The sisters are so grateful for Sacred Heart’s solidarity and generosity. Please pray for the sisters, the children and their families.
