The St. Catherine of Siena Dominican Laity at Sacred Heart Parish is dedicated to truth, prayer and saving souls.
Their apostolate, which the order explains as the work they do for Christ and the salvation of souls, includes talking to people about Christ and their faith, giving out holy water to parish members and making lunch once a month for Habitat for Humanity volunteers.
Members have also given out lunch sacks through the St. Andrew’s Lunch Ministry in the Sacred Heart parish office and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Store in Wichita Falls.
The group meets the third Thursday for Mass at 12:10 p.m. followed by a meeting in the parish hall parlor.
