***PLEASE NOTE: In order for a safe environment session to take place, there MUST be at least five (5) people pre-registered to attend due to the format of the program. Spread the word, grab your mask, and join a fellow volunteer minister from Sacred Heart and attend together!

The following are upcoming session dates in list form for Protecting God's Children (PGC) (initial Virtus program training certification) & Keeping the Promise Alive (KPA) (renewal certification of the original PGC session only--NOT of other former training programs ) safe environment sessions:

Those who wish to join a virtual session must log into VIRTUS and pre-register for one of the safe environment awareness sessions for adults scheduled that has the location set as z_Other.
Program will be provided via live virtual session through Zoom. You will receive an invitation with instructions by email. Please test your equipment (sound and video) prior to starting the class. Pre-register two days prior to the session so that the Moderator has time to send the email link for the Zoom Online Session in time before the session commences.
An invitation to connect to the Safe Environment Awareness Session will be sent to the email listed when pre-registering in VIRTUS.
Once the invitation is sent out the participants, they will be able to access the link within the email using a phone, laptop, desktop, or tablet with internet connection and wait in the virtual meeting waiting room until the Moderator admits you into the session.
Participants may download the zoom app, but it is not mandatory. The quality of video and voice features will vary depending on the device used. Highspeed internet is not required to join and participate in the discussion. If the device is connected via Wi-Fi the videos and presentation will be more fluid
We highly recommend that volunteers attending these sessions have earphones or headphones with a mic they can use during the session. This is not mandatory, but will enhance the training experience in that it allows participants to be able to watch the videos and have discussion with more privacy. It will also cut down on the echo that we can expect with having several people in an online meeting environment.
***If a participant is disconnected during the discussion portion of the session, they will need to go back to the email invitation and click on the link once more to join the session again.
